Join C3 and community partners IMPACT Interfaith and Albemarle County, for a special event to educate faith communities on practical energy and climate solutions. From simple energy appliance upgrades to installing EV chargers on your property, this workshop offers solutions and resources to invest in energy efficiency at your place of worship and at home.

Attendance is free and lunch is provided!

What You’ll Learn:

  • Energy Solutions for Worship Spaces: Gain insights from experts on energy efficiency, heat pumps (electrification), solar power, and EV charging.

  • Financial Incentives & Financing: Explore programs and resources available to help yourself and your place of worship reduce costs and fund energy upgrades. Learn how Charlottesville and Albemarle’s new Energy Resource Hub will help you navigate this web of opportunities.

  • Community Impact: Learn how to share in-home energy-saving solutions with your congregation, including programs that assist low-income households in saving on energy costs and improving housing affordability.

  • Faith organizations based in Albemarle County will have the chance to win free professional energy assessments! Ten winners, chosen by drawing during the event, will receive:

  1. A professional energy assessment for their facility, valued at $1,000.

  2. $500 worth of energy efficiency upgrades to get started on their climate solutions journey.
