Energy Resource Hub

The Energy Resource Hub links homeowners, renters, and businesses in Charlottesville and Albemarle County with government rebates and incentives.

In collaboration with Albemarle County, the City of Charlottesville, and the Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP), we help reduce the cost of heat pumps, insulation, electric appliances, and other energy-efficient upgrades. Reach out to our team or join an upcoming event to get started.

  • Solar Climate Justice Scorecard 

    • This public tool equips advocates, decision-makers, and developers with the knowledge of how a proposed solar project might influence climate justice goals to better advance smart, local solutions to climate change.

  • Energy Burden Calculator

    • C3 partnered with UVA Forge to create this simple tool for calculating your energy burden (the percentage of annual income that is spent on energy costs. (Energy Burden Resource Hub coming soon)

  • Transit Advocacy Tool

    • The Virginia Transit Tool was initiated by the C3 and designed by the Center for Neighborhood Technologies to provide data and metrics that support community efforts to organize and advocate for better transit for residents and businesses and contribute to an improved environment. The online tool assembles data and information about local public transportation and fills gaps in knowledge about service and its impact.
