C3 Delivers Kits to Albemarle County Schools

For the third year in a row, C3 will deliver Climate Action Kits to County 4th graders. This time 14 elementary schools participated for over 1,000 kits in total. Find out more about this program here.
PVCC Earth Day Extravaganza
Monday, April 17, 12-1 PM
Come celebrate planet Earth at the first ever PVCC Earth Day Extravaganza! Hosted by PVCC Sustainability Committee on April 17th in the Bolick Center from 12pm-1pm. Activities will include an Earth-centric trivia event, an interactive and educational pop-up recycling center, and a campus-wide scavenger hunt. LMA Community Day
Saturday, April 22, 9-1 PM at Lugo-McGinnis
Katie Ebinger and Caetano de Campos Lopes will be tabling at the Lugo McGinness Academy’s Community Day. Vendors will share what students can do to make a difference and then all will participate in a trash clean up. Event for LMA students/families only.

We had so much fun talking about careers in climate science, engineering, advocacy, and sustainability that we are back this year! This event is for CHS students only.

VA Discovery Museum’s Kid*Vention
Saturday, April 29, 9:30-1 PM at Ting Pavilion
Fun, hands-on demonstrations, experiments, and games are offered by over 40 local organizations. C3 will offer Climate Action Bingo and a pro-planet art project to get kids excited about what they can do to help protect our Earth. https://www.vadm.org/kidvention
