Our 2nd annual Party for the Planet will take place on October 6, 2023, at IX Art Park from 5:30-8 p.m. Last year we had 800 people in attendance, and we expect to have just as impressive of a turnout this year! This event began last year as a celebration of C3’s 5th anniversary. Now it is a yearly tradition.
What to Expect?
This event will be family-friendly, free, and fun! You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about local climate efforts, take action, connect with fellow community members, and just have a fun time!
Who Will Be There?
Freddy Jackson from Love No Ego will be our emcee for the evening once again! Live music will be performed by indie retro band Jaewar and Vibe Riot, who are based right here in Charlottesville.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet and learn more about all of our fabulous community partners who help make our work possible. C3 will present 12 climate leadership awards to individuals and groups who are vital to successful climate action in Charlottesville.
